After nearly two years of laborious negotiations, we finally agreed with the district on a new faculty collective agreement (CBA)! Note that these changes reflect only non-economic elements. The collective agreements below for the San Diego District Classification are the most current agreements or manuals between the district and the union or meetings and conferancing groups. The initial placement of salaries is appropriately linked to the related rules of experience and advertising. The district offers a comprehensive package of ancillary benefits, including employer-paid medical, dental and travel plans; sick and vacation leave; and opportunities for professional development. Initial wage intermediation is carried out in accordance with the collective agreement of the POA – Police Officers Association. This position is non-exempt FLSA and may result in overtime. A temporary probation period is applied to the employee who enters into this contract. Attend a new appointment with the Human Resources Department, which is located in the district administrative offices.
